Windows Steps

Run:

winver

What You Should Learn

  • NTFS is the normal modern Windows file system.
  • ext4 and XFS are common Linux file systems.
  • exFAT is useful for cross-platform removable storage.
  • FAT32 is compatible but limited by its 4 GB max file size.
  • APFS is Apple's modern file system, but this lab does not require a Mac.
